All About Planning For Weddings St John Virgin Islands

By Christopher Brown

A marriage ceremony is the day on which two hearts become one. It is a day filled with joy and celebration. If due planning is not done, weddings St John Virgin Islands can be stressful and infuriating. One should ensure the vendors come with good recommendations so that instances of disappointment can be kept at bay. One should have a contingency plan in the event something goes wrong and a vendor pulls out a few days to the celebration.

There is usually a group of the closest friends who stand with the couple at the front. They are called the wedding party. They support the couple through the planning and during the ceremony itself. They are equipped with the mandate to handle small mishaps n the material day to keep the couple unbothered. One should plan on the design, material, and color of dresses for the bridesmaids. This of course should be a joint discussion between the whole group. The bride holds a deciding vote. The groom should also do the same with his groomsmen. The gown and tuxedo for the couple should also be sourced on time to avoid unfortunate occurrences.

The color scheme is a choice of matching colors that will prevail throughout the event. Decor, outfits and even cake will be subjected to this color scheme. Everyone has a favorite color. The couple should agree on a color that appeals to both of them. A professional can help them with the secondary color options. There is also a theme to think about. It can be a black tie event with jazz where the ladies wear cocktail or full length gowns. It can also be laid back with short floral dresses.

Cake and food are integral to a successful ceremony. Absence of these or poor service is remembered for eons and not in good taste. One should find reliable vendors who will deliver high quality food and cake. The couple will choose the number of courses and menu items. They will also choose between buffet and table waiting service.

The cake and food problem is solved and so is the dress problem. But, where will people go? People are moving away from the tradition of marrying in church. Any place can serve as a venue as long as there is enough space and amenities. It could be a forest or riverbank. It could be a beach or a rooftop. The venue should be convenient and affordable. Affordable does not necessarily mean cheap. It just means the venue should cost as much as the budget allows.

What is the plan for the days following the material day? Is there a honeymoon in the works? Who will watch the pets and kids? Who will come over twice a week to water the yard and air out the house? It is advisable to take a day of rest before embarking on the journey to honeymoon destination.

One should have enough rest on the night before. The couple should rid themselves of the pressure and stress of the planning process. They should do everything to ensure they are fresh and well rested on the morning of. Breakfast is important on this day. The day will be filled with activity, one should store up energy.

A marriage ceremony should be enjoyable for the couple. It is not every day that one is pronounced a lifetime partner of the person they love in the presence of friends and family. The couple should enjoy the day, eat cake, dance till their limbs ache and laugh until their faces hurt.
