A romantic union is where two in individuals have a strong emotional attachment to one another. The union, in this case, refers to either a relationship or marriage. For most people being in such an arrangement is an essential element of life which brings a lot of satisfaction and fulfillment. Unfortunately, some of these bonds can be broken for a variety of reasons, in such cases, the parties involved should engage in a relationship break up therapy to avoid the emotional breakdown.

The early years of childhood are critical because it is during this period that individuals learn how to relate to other persons. A kid should be brought up in a conducive environment where they are taught virtues such as tolerance, communication and working together. According to psychologists, raising children in a hostile setting is likely to result in them having bad relationships in their adulthood.

There is no formula on how to arrive at the best relationship. People are unique and have different expectations. Traits like personality and demeanor take time to learn. It is only after truly understanding what your partner is all about that one can determine where they are compatible as a couple. Patience is an essential trait; it is not wise to rush things as you could be setting yourself up for failure.

There is always a possibility that no matter how much time you put into the union, a break up could still happen. Separation can be brought about by some factors. The lack of trust ranks among the top reasons as to why people disagree. Not being faithful honest about matters such as finances is one of the leading causes of lack of trust. Relationships collapse due to the erosion of trust. Also, ensure that you have mutual goals and stay supportive to one another.

The other leading cause of broken bonds is the lack of communication between the partners. Therapists say this is the single most factor that makes many clients seek their services. Be ready to engage your spouse in a conversation as frequently as you can. Do not be afraid to express yourself and say how you feel about the other person and the relationship in general. Other reasons include the lack of compatibility, not being emotionally supportive, and the lack of mutual goals.

Therapy is meant to aid an individual to deal with the mixed feeling that results from a fractured association. Persons may feel sad and angry about the whole issue. Stress and low self-esteem can occur when one party is rejected by the other. To prevent depression, a counselor will help the client speak out and understand where things have gone wrong.

Some people prefer to deal with the situation without approaching an expert. To embark on a personal healing process, one needs to be around the right company. For example, by sharing experiences with other persons who have faced break ups, once can relieve stress and understand that this can happen to anybody and not them alone.

There also exist cases where the grieving individual is so overwhelmed with sadness that they consider committing suicide. In such a situation a psychologist is required to aid the affected individual to recover from the broken bond and set them on a path of recovery.
