Twenty Fifth Anniversary Invitations And Preparations

By Zelma Hurley

Marriage is mysterious, magical, challenging, and a roller coaster. Some people do not get as long as ten years, more so for twenty years or more. Others are crawling their way to their thirtieth year. Some no longer have that so called spark in their relationship but they hang on for the sake of their children, while some others could no longer crawl nor hang on because of irreconcilable differences, as what most divorce papers usually say indicating the reason for permanent separation.

It is a long journey to forever and getting to the silver anniversary is a great accomplishment after the hardships in adjusting to the attitude and behaviors of each other for years. In celebrating the silver years of love, family, and trials, there are 25th anniversary invitations available online, in stores, and some materials are also available for personalized ones.

Renewing the marriage rites is one of the activities done by couples in this once in a lifetime experience. The entire family comes together for the celebration and they prepare the food together as well. After all, their marriage is no longer for just the two of them but is also more about the children now.

Invitations can be made to make it more personal. If you are creative and you have the time to make some, go ahead. It will have your personal touch which is more ideal and sentimental at the same time. However, if you think it is too time consuming, you can actually buy some.

There are also readymade invitation cards and they can be found in bookstores or stationery stores and office and school supplies. There are so many designs to choose from. Take note of the kind of design you prefer which is something that will fit the theme of the occasion. You can also request the store staff to make it a little personalized by printing your names on it.

You can also buy them online. They can be delivered in bulks at affordable prices and shipping fee. You can even print out some good, simple, and creative cards on the internet. Some of them are free. But choose the design that fit the celebration.

Properly print or write the name of the celebration, place, time and date, and RSVP. Also provide your contact number so that it is easy for them to confirm if they will come. You can also indicate the color of the attire they must wear, especially if there is a marriage rite.

When you have finally distributed the invites to the expected guests, start planning for the other things needed for the rites and the reception. Pay special attention on the food. But if you think this whole thing is just so overwhelming, call an events coordinator to assign the other more tiring assignments for you.

While the coordinator does all the work for you, try to relax and pamper yourself together with your spouse. Go to a spa for a great massage experience or to the salon for your new haircut. Try to have more time with each other now that you are approaching your silver year.
