It is only natural for instructors and school leaders to have a collaborative process where they can learn more about their practice. This collaborative process is better known as the instructional rounds. These instructors and school leaders need this so that they can develop a collaborative understanding of learning and teaching.

The process requires the team made of teaching personnel to briefly visit classrooms. During this visit, they will be observing and collecting data that are in accordance to what essential question they have for their practice. Aside from classroom observations, other parts such as discussions are included in the said process too.

The essential questions of the practice are determined according to a district leadership team. This is the team that decides on this question. The question is developed according to the issue that the team identifies to result to high-leverage and high-yield outcomes for the students. This question is thoroughly identified.

If possible, the school should give their all in committing and implementing the said process. They should know that properly carrying out this process will help in improving the students' achievements. It has been proven in lots of research how classroom instructions become a big factor in improving the students' achievements. This is important.

There should be no problem in implementing this process. After all, both the union and the administration are in agreement to the process. They are both aware of the said process right from the start. They know that this methodology is what will help increase professionalism in teaching. It aids with the role and responsibilities of teachers too.

No one can escape this process since all schools are required to go through the said process. Every year, this process will have to take place so that every school will be able to figure out which opportunities are best for them. They can apply the said process to building levels and even districts accordingly. You will have to decide on this matter according to your gathered data beforehand.

You will need to contact a lot of individuals who will be willing to be involved in the process. There are a minimum number of people that must participate in this. For the team, there should be at least 25 participants consisting of the principals, vice principals, teachers, and central office staff. They will be the ones visiting the classrooms, albeit brief. They are to attend to this process meticulously.

Make sure to invite the right people when you plan to coordinate the team that will do the said process. If you can do it right, then you should be able to acquire an ideal result out of this process. It will be favorable to your school. The results will also help in achieving progress for the sake of your school and students.

The preparations must be done by all classrooms, even if the classrooms that will go through this process will be selected randomly. There will be a random sample that must go through this process. The said classroom will be visited by the time and observed for a few minutes. Since it is random, everyone should prepare.
