More and more people are looking at the unconventional YouTube channel of Dave and Nicole Rowland because they see; Dave disastrously applying Nicole's makeup, making targets out of toilet rolls and firing rubber bands at them and even a poignant tribute to a highway-abandoned treadmill. But don't mistake this for comical whim; they call it 'Doing Life Together' - a marriage-centric lifestyle; which could truly help people all over the globe save relationships.
If you ask Dave and Nicole then they would say that they practically been together forever. Even now that they are in their early forties, they still have an exciting friendship like how it was when they initially met in grade 7. They decided to give suggestions and share their life on line when they made a vow to passionately work on their friendship after noticing that many couples they know are breaking up. So 'Doing Life Together' was born - a project spanning twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
"Our goal is to showcase what a happy marriage looks like, and to interact with the viewers to give practical information on everything we have learned along the way," explains Dave. "We have been through it all, both as a couple and with our children". As each day passes, Dave and Nicole's love for each other grows increasingly more and this is something they would like to share with the whole world. Even if they have experienced lots of troubles they always realize that life without each other is not worth living. Numerous other couples who go through the same struggles don't realize this and end up having a divorce. This has a ripple-effect that affects millions of people.
If Dave and Nicole were to choose between theory and practicality, they will choose the latter. Each and every YouTube video tackles often difficult topics with the humour and (sometimes crazy!) example of what is clearly an unbreakable friendship.
"You'll see us touring the city discussing why we are in love with one another, challenging the viewers to take the 'Cupid Cupcake Challenge' and showing just how much we enjoy our many unlikely daytrips and expeditions. But don't think that we are as happy as we are because we're blessed; we got there through hard work and perseverance. The good news is that anybody can attain the same life, and joining us on line is a good way to begin".
About The Couple: Dave and Nicole Rowland advocate that happy marriages make families stronger and thus makes a better society. The objective is to show their world via their channel on YouTube and inspire other couples. The story is really one of a kind. The first time Dave and Nicole met was when they were both in the 4th grade studying in the same elementary school. They had a relationship when they were in the seventh grade and after a brief break up, they made their bond permanent when they turned 14 years old; navigating the tumultuous teenage and torturous years in high school together. They decided to get married when they were 20, after 7 years of being together. They have had both happy and sad times. Twenty-three years later they are still here, still loyal and adoring each other more each day.
