How To Choose The Best Maui Wedding Venues

By Jaclyn Hurley

Marriage is one of the biggest milestones in the lives of most people. Making sure that your marriage is memorable, not only for the bride and groom, but also for the guests is the dream of every couple. Ensuring that you choose the best Maui wedding venues is the first step to making this dream a reality. The location is of the ceremony is usually the second most important aspect after the wedding dress.

There are many factors you have to consider when choosing a place to wed. To get the best place, be systematic. Before choosing, the first thing you have to do is to choose a place that goes with the same theme you have chosen. The theme you have in mind provides proper guidance in choosing a place. After all, make sure the place is suitable for your theme. For example if you choose to wed in a hotel, do not go for a beachside theme.

It is also important to consider the topography of the location you intend to hold your ceremony. Before settling for a location, visit the site prior to the ceremony to ensure that it caters for all your ceremonial needs. You should also consider the plantations in the site and how they will affect the ceremony. A well flowered gazebo is an excellent location to hold a bridal ceremony.

In the case where the couple is religious and wants to hold a religious ceremony, it is advisable to go for a church or any other religious building in accordance with the faith of the couple. Some churches like The Grand Wailea Chapel and Maria Lanakila Church are ideal for those people that want to start their marital journey with a Christian touch. There are also other places that are available for people of different faiths.

Some people go for the exclusivity of a location depending on their status. Resorts and hotels usually provide the exclusivity most people seek when tying the knot. Although these resorts and hotels are expensive they offer the best services that most often than not exceed the expectations of the guests and the newlyweds.

After making the choice of the location for holding your ceremony, consider the rules that govern that particular location. If it is a religious setting, then it would be unwise to have alcoholic drinks or other unacceptable choices in the ceremony. This is always why it is wise to have a reception venue if you plan on having a religious ceremony.

When choosing a location it is paramount that you consider the number of guests that you are expecting to attend the ceremony. In the case where you do not have a rough estimate on the number of guests to expect it is important to get a location that is considerably big to cater for the guests. There should also be ample parking space to avoid congestion.

There are many wedding venues you can choose. However, do not go for places too expensive that it gives headache when paying charges. Hire a unique location affordable but have enough facilities to cater for your needs. If it has a reception hall, it will work well for your needs.
