If you practice any kind of Law of Attraction meditation or visualizations on a regular basis, then you've likely run into the following scenario. On the one hand, you want a lot of money. The more money you have, the more comfortable life you can live. The more nice things you can buy for yourself and your family. The more supportive you can be of your friends. But on the other hand, you likely have this deep feeling that a desire for money is evil. That rich people have somehow taken advantage of somebody, somewhere along the way. That they are somehow dishonest. After all, doesn't the Bible teach that the love of money is the root of all evil?
Well, let's take a look at this from an economic perspective. Forget about morality or religion or anything like that. Let's just take a look at the basic mechanics of money and human action. There are only five ways to get money. You can find it, receive it as a gift, steal it, print it or earn it. I'm going to assume that when you meditate or visualize the LOA, you aren't stealing, finding, being given, or printing money. You are earning it somehow. You are trading your skills or products for cash. Now, let's consider the basics of human trade. We only trade things when we think we are getting the better end of the deal. When you buy a hamburger for a dollar, you actually think the hamburger is worth more to you than the dollar. Otherwise, you wouldn't make the exchange. That would be like changing a dollar for a dollar, which would be silly.Likewise, the person selling you the hamburger would rather have the dollar. Before the exchange, you have a dollar, but you want a hamburger. He or she has a hamburger but would rather have the dollar. After the exchange you are both better off.
The danger is, we can be led to believe all we have to do is to sit around thinking good, positive thoughts and our success development would be assured. In fact, our life would be full of only good things happening to us and we would achieve our goals almost without our doing anything. Does anyone really believe that? The only people I know of who have power, wealth or the good things of life without doing anything are those born into it. The rest of us have to work at it.Have you noticed how successful people talk and act? They generally have a confident, can-do attitude. It is not that they have not had to deal with plenty of challenges or they do not recognize the future challenges. It is simply that they have decided to meet these challenges positively with the expectation they will overcome them and succeed.
They have developed a habit of positive thinking that banishes any doubts they may have and this keeps them enthusiastic and motivated. This attitude attracts more success because that is what they are focusing on and what they have come to expect. For most people, success comes with hard, smart work coupled with a positive attitude and positive action. Then the law of attraction will work by drawing positive things and positive people to you, which will accelerate your success development. Fill your mind with great expectations in the firm belief you can attain them and you will be presented with all the opportunities you need. Many scientists and theorists from across the globe have come to the conclusion that everything is regulated and governed by a set of universal laws such as the law of cause and effect and the law of gravity.
Success means different things to different individuals. It comes in many different forms and the idea of being successful for one person might not be the same as for another person. In fact, there are as many definitions of success as there are people on this planet. For instance, if you are a businessman, success may mean being among the top 10 companies in your industry and if you are a student, success may mean getting distinctions and coming first in your exams. According to Earl Nightingale, "Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal." It is therefore very important for each one of us to define clearly what success means to us.We can use the Law of Attraction to attract the success we desire in our life. According to the Law of Attraction, we attract into our lives, whatever we give our energy, attention and focus to, whether wanted or unwanted. If we want to deliberately attract success, we have to follow three steps.
If we want to be successful in our life, then the very first thing we should do is to take the time to decide exactly what success means to us. Clarity is the first step for deliberately attracting the success we desire in our life. Success is a multifaceted personal concept. By defining what the idea of success represents to us and by taking the time to write it down, we will automatically move our life in that direction. Robert Collier was right when he said "The great successful men of the world have used their imagination. They think ahead and create their mental picture in all its details, filling in here, adding a little there, altering this a bit and that a bit, but steadily building - steadily building."
It's important to understand that the law of attraction was referenced long before any new age movement and even before western civilization had even gotten wind of any of the universal laws.To the best of my knowledge and knowledge of others it is said that the Buddha had been the first to really introduce mankind to the underlying principles of the law of attraction, although never directly referred to as such.Buddha stated that "what you've become is what you've thought", a statement and notion that the eastern civilization had understood and acknowledged centuries before the western civilization had even heard of it, let alone really understood or practiced it.Karma also has reference to the law of attraction with their underlying belief that you'll eventually be revisited by that which you've sent out into the world.
The second step to deliberately attract success is to raise our vibration. We must always bear in mind that we do not get what we want but we get what we vibrate. We must therefore become a "vibrational match" to what we want in order to attract what we truly desire. One way to raise our vibration is to act as if we are already successful and start experiencing how we would be feeling if we had already achieved the success we wanted, how joyful we would feel and how happy and excited we would be as a result of achieving the success we desire. We can also use affirmations or use phrases like "I am very successful now." to raise our vibration to attract the success we desire in our life. We can also use visualization and see ourselves already experiencing the success we want.
It was in the nineteenth century that the law of attraction had made its presence in the Western hemisphere where people had started to understand and treasure the power of maintaining a positive attitude and positive thought processes and had started applying this new found knowledge in their own lives. So it's clear that the law of attraction had been referenced and practiced long before any new age movements started to surface. Many wise men including the Monks understood that mans belief can directly impact their path of fate as well as the journey they would take in order to reach their final destination!
