Unique Inspirational Stories From Women 60 Plus

Inspiration can often hit an individual at any time in life. When it comes to inspirational stories from women 60 and over, there are numerous ones. In most cases, these are individuals are well known figures in history. Whereas, there are also a number of lesser known authors, speakers and journalists which share the stories of others.

In most cases, the women are well known figures, journalists and speakers whom have shared different stories through various publications. In each case, it is clear that the individual only succeeded due to a strong vision along with a passion and drive to get things done. Otherwise, most would have never succeeded at publishing the books, articles and blog posts which have since empowered others of the same age range and generation.

Each of these individuals have contributed something beneficial to the baby boomer generation. In some cases, multiple blogs have featured these and other individuals who have made such great contributions. In addition, blog owners often also tell stories of these individuals having impacted the lives of oneself and others.

One good example of a woman which has inspired others is that of Kerry Hannon, the author of "Great Jobs Over 50, " and expert on issues such as finance and career to women still saving and working later in life. Whereas, those whom have read the book find the author down to earth with a strong sense of compassion for others. As such, anyone desiring to become self-employed, start a business or locate a full or part-time job after the age of 60 may want to connect with Ms. Hannon, while also reading current and future publications by the author.

There are a also a number of articles in magazines and newsletters such as MidLife Boulevard, an online publication focusing on females over 50. The magazine, produced by MeSharon Greenthal, provides a great deal of insight and information for those over 40. Whereas, Ms. Greenthal is clearly passionate when it comes to issues such as health, peri-menopause, love, career and children.

Other authors, such as Barbara Hannah Grufferman have authored publications regarding positive aging and overall health and wealth being for those over 50. As such, a number of people now see Barbara as one of the most inspirational individuals of the baby boomer generation.

While some individuals love to stay home during retirement, others love to travel, especially women. Prill Boyle, a TV show host, speaker, writer and author is another inspirational woman whom bloomed late in life. For, Prill has promoted, written about and interviewed a number of ordinary women whom have achieved extraordinary success. In fact, in the book "Defying Gravity, " the author celebrates seniors and others whom eventually found success after age 50 or 60.
