Therefore, it is essential to practice Zen because it enables very many people to avoid spending most of their lives in fear and worrying about the things they have no control over. Among the monks, introspection is a crucial part of their spiritual life which enables them to have a deep insight of life. Buddhism through meditation will help you have a purpose in life after you have lost the meaning of life. The reason why most people lose the sense in their life is that they rely so much on their consumer lifestyle which leaves most of them feeling empty. You get a new level of experience when you start looking for beauty even in places that might seem to have no beauty at all. The experience is that you realize there is beauty in everything if you become open and aware.

When you can see the beauty around you, fear is reduced because the many worries of your life are gone. This will enable you to easily connect with people of all kinds from friends, relatives, and even strangers. It can create deep and meaningful connections with people.

Meditation also changes the perspective about life. This occurs when you start living a life of acceptance whereby you start gaining some perspective of your everyday life. People can interpret things positively when they start accepting the daily life events. If the interpretation is made right, you can react well to every situation in life due to the many uncertainties.

Meditation also influences tolerance of religious practice. It enables you to undermine written religious texts that might end up making you a fanatic as you do not depend on your religious identity but your self-actualization as a way of fulfillment. This way, there is peaceful coexistence between the various religions. This leads to the existence of different religions in one place without bringing up their differences.

Through meditation, you can achieve self-discipline. This is because the practice teaches you how to understand yourself, therefore, being able to control your actions. Learning to control your actions will help you to respect all people. It is also beneficial at the place of work since employees are intrinsically motivated and do not need monitoring to perform as they are self-driven.

In some places, however, Buddhist teachers are not happy with most of their followers, and this is because they do not appear to have vigor and passion when practicing Buddhism. Compared to other religions that have passionate supporters, Zen seems to lack that. This might get associated with lack of written texts for the Buddhists or their culture.

It would be a better life if you react to every life situation in a more positive way, however, challenging it might seem. This is the primary goal of practicing meditation, making a positive choice in daily life on how you react to circumstances.
