Belonging to a local fellowship is important if one professes to be a follower of Christ. One has the absolute freedom to join any denomination. Ignoring spiritual matters leads to unbalanced life.

People fellowship for varied reasons. The majority of people feel that it is one of the most powerful ways of connecting with The Creator. It is in singing hymns that spiritual connections with the supernatural are made. People need to worship God because He facilitates the peaceful coexistence of life in the planet and is the ultimate source of life.

Socializing has its place in Christianity. Church is not all about serious business. After the sermon is over and people are outside the house of worship, it is allowed to mingle with others in a holy manner. People need to talk about sermon issues. It is also not bad to talk about other general life matters. Being spiritual does not negate the fact that a person is still human. All human beings love to talk and share their experiences. This is how a beautiful world is created.

The gathering of people is an important issue. The Bible says that where more than two people are gathered, God is in the midst. Therefore, spiritual individuals are encouraged to seek community worship rather than doing things all by themselves. Being in a group lends itself to many growth opportunities. Group effort is always better than individual effort.

Spirituality is all about fellowshipping. Being religious demands reaching out to others. The basic tenet of the gospel is about the neighbor. One needs to meet with other people for spiritual reasons. It is good to hear people's testimonies and to join others in prayer and worship. Humans were created to worship The Almighty.
