The Place Of An Intuitive Healer In Modern Medical Practice

By Marci Nielsen

Intuitive healing is an exciting form of therapeutic technique based on the use of our five senses in locating imbalances in energy flow inside our bodies. The alternative names are insight healing and metaphysical healing. This therapy has been in existence for centuries and is still practiced in many places all over the world. In this article will look at how exactly an intuitive healer uses his craft and whether or not the technique is effective.

In this treatment, there is a belief that the body comprises seven energy sites (chakras). Each site controls a specific body system. Additionally, the chakras are linked to emotions and the two interact through a negative feedback mechanism. We fall sick when the negative emotions dominate and get better in the presence of positive emotions. The healer is focused on enhancing the positive emotions and suppressing the negative ones.

There are two main components of intuition healing; visualization and focused thinking. Mediation and remote viewing are skills that are required for any of these to be realized. Remote viewing is the process of focusing on people, events or items found in the past, the present or the future with an aim of evoking a beneficial positive emotion that helps restore the required energy balance.

Meditation is an important component of the treatment. One is required to spend some quiet time alone regularly if the treatment is to be successful. These practice is said to enhance intuition. From a physiological point of view, it helps lower the blood pressure, to reduce stress and to reverse the effects of heart disease all of which have a positive effect on disease processes.

Dreams are another way our bodies communicate to us. It is a window through which we view our lives and get answers on the many questions that we may have regarding different aspects of our lives such as health, careers and relationships. It is important that one keeps tracks of all their dreams by recording them in a journal so as to establish a certain pattern.

The healer has the ability to perceive energy patterns within each of the sites using our sixth sense commonly known as intuition. While we all have this skill, the practitioners have over many years of practice honed and perfected it. Using this skill, the healers can detect the emotions that underlie a certain physical symptom. They then recommend healing exercises targeting the emotion and by extension, the symptom.

It is claimed that the healer can do their work regardless of the distance involved. When the client remains quiet and listens to their conscience, they can communicate with the healer through telepathy. This still, small voice is said to tell the sick what is wrong or right concerning their state of health.

There is need to be aware of the body so as to notice the symptoms of disease at the earliest stage. At the same time, the client needs to have the ability to sense their body energy. This will make it possible for them to be aware of reduced energy levels in various chakras. It is important to point out that intuitive healing is not an alternative to conventional treatment modalities. The therapy should only be used as a complement to your regular treatments.
