The Truths And Misconceptions About Navicular Pain

On many occasions we experience pains the pains that emanate from our leg or the lower limb, some ignore the painful sensation some try and self diagnose the ache to try and see if the it is a physical cause while some not willing to bear the brunt head for the specialists. In some cases some are diagnosed with navicular pain, that tend to question what is this ailment, what is its causative agent and how it can be prevented.

The body is a connection of various bones and tendons, the lower limb has the navicular system, when one bone in this system is fractured it causes a strain in the whole of the system, when a muscle is expanded or contracted it makes the bone to twitch due to the movement whereby the twitch is transported in pulses through the nervous system and it is conveyed as pain to the brain, this is however known as a navicular paining.

Some individuals though a small percentage are endowed with an extra bone in their foot or at times its a cartilage. This also known as naviculum vitae, Its located in the lower foot just above the arch. Out of this group of people some suffer severe pains due to extra bone in their feet. The painfulness in their feet is caused by the aggravation of the extra bone due to various conditions.

In some moments the paining is known to be brought about by making the body strain as a result of activities such as walking, jumping, sprinting and other day to day activities that makes the muscle tense and strain which in return brings pains physical cracking and breaking down of the cartilage or in other words bones in the navicular system.

The section of people with the extra cartilage face an even more severe pain this is due to discomfort brought about by having to put on shoes, playing and moving around thus bringing about the burden to the muscles which makes it to ache thus the ailment experienced by the affected chosen few.

The association between weak bones and it being the causative agent for this ailment is a disputed myth, this is because the weak bones have in no relation to the cause of painful sensation as long as they function normally.

The level of pain experienced varies from an individual to another this is because the weight of individuals differ. The people with higher weight tends to experience a greater extent of weight as compared to those who have lower weights. This is because the more the weight one has the higher the level of strain which in turn leads to more levels of pains experienced.

On very rare occasions do thorns and pricks make one to have these pains, this is because the thorns rarely reach the central part of the foot, and the body has a defense mechanism against thorns which therefore disapproves this theory.
