Humans are in the middle of the war between the forces of good and the forces of evil. Even though a lot of people do not know that they are smack in the center of this battlefield, the supernatural forces that are at war are there and very strong. Now if one would want to know more about this battlefield that he is in, then he should understand spiritual warfare.
Everyone at one point in his life, will realize that there is something more than what meets the eye or what they can see in this world. There is what is known as a spiritual realm where the supernatural beings are battling each other. Basically, these are the forces of God that can be found in the heavens and the forces of Satan that can be found in hell.
Now the final clash between the two forces would be none other than Judgment Day or the famous Armageddon. During this time, two armies would be marching out of both heaven and hell and would be duking it out with each other. Now according to the Bible, Jesus has already saved the people of earth which means that the outcome of the battle has already been decided.
Of course the devil, being the underdog in this fight, is looking to gain as many souls as possible for his army. Of course if he is going to survive, then he is definitely going to need a lot of manpower. It is for this reason that he is trying to get a lot of people to fall into his traps so that their souls can end up in hell.
Now if one would read some stories about demons, he would find that there are actually many stories that revolve around demons making deals with humans. Now basically, a demon would make a deal with a human in exchange for his soul for a wish. So basically, the demon will fulfill the wish of the person and in return, his soul will go directly to hell when he passes on.
This is of course where spreading the world of the Lord comes in. In order to combat the demons that plague the land, followers must convert the people in order to turn them to the good side. That way, they will be joining the army of God instead of suffering with the demons down in hell.
The way humans would be able to fight this war would be to not be fooled into doing what the devil wants. This means not succumbing to evil actions and evil thoughts. This also means accepting God and doing good things to the people of this earth.
So basically, the spiritual war is all about the two sides trying to gain followers in order to prepare for the big war that is about the happen. According to the book of Revelations, Heaven has already won the war and will bring about peace to the earth. Those who would follow Heaven would enjoy being in the kingdom of God and enjoying there.
