Occult Supplies Online And Other Mystical Finds

By Minnie Whitley

Before the time when Christianity and other forms of religion was introduced massively in communities, the natives had ancient deities who they believed was responsible for all the events on earth. They used to worship the sun, moon, and stars and supreme beings who oversee the life and activities of every creature that roam the land. They used to offer sacrifices to remedy floods, droughts, plagues, and the like. They have profound respect for non living things such as rocks and mountains, believing these are somewhat connected to the ancient deities.

During the spread of Christianity, such practices have been forbidden. Pagans have been baptized and are made to believe that their past traditions are attributed to the devil. Tools used in these rituals and occult supplies online are discarded. During the medieval times witch hunts have become quite a trend. Officials and even the ignorant public just randomly take a woman, who, in their standards, was quite suspicious. This caused the death of thousands of innocent women who suffered hideous deaths by being burned at stakes.

Years after the medieval ages, the knowledge of this specific area remain. They have been passed on from generation to generation. Practices involving dark magic are very much still alive today, held in secret locations and are done privately among fellow believers. Though such practices are still regarded as of the devil, there is no denying that it is still an object of fascinating study for many.

Occult, in etymology, simply means hidden or secret. This word means knowledge about hidden things. This gained such a dark reputation over the years, and today people see occult practices as pertaining to the demon. In occultism, a person tries to look into the unknown to see things that normal beings are not allowed to see.

Examples of these practices are astrology, witchcraft, fortune telling, tarot card reading, spiritism, parapsychology, and Satanism. The shrouded veil that covers these fields make them all the more interesting to both ignorant and educated individuals. Despite the advancement of technology, this is still regarded as a very fascinating subject for many people.

The interest of one in occultism usually starts with natural curiosity. This curiosity is often fueled by media and literature that focus on topics regarding dark magic and related fields. We see them all the time in movies and read about them in books. Most start young, in playing seemingly harmless games such as the Ouija board and summoning the fabled spirit of the glass. They start easily as games, until the participants find it hard to get out and are being sunk deeper and deeper.

Symbols related to the dark side abound in daily living. The v sign symbol using the hand which the Asian use when they take cute pictures are supposedly a symbol of the Illuminati. The hand symbol used by hard rock fans and bands are supposedly a reference to the horns of the devil.

Star symbols are instantly seen as pertaining to the demonic side as well. Hexagrams, pentagrams, and inverted symbols that are usually used in punk music cover arts and other emo and Gothic merchandise are condemned by the Church as satanic and even regard the people who use it as followers of the dark side.

Despite it being a form of satanism, there are still some people who can not simply turn away from the mystical aura exuded by magic. Today, there are still people who practice the ancient rituals. They make use of the different tools to make the dark side work for them, which makes them a most dangerous enemy to reckon with.
